PGA of America REACH Foundation Southern Texas is a 501(c)3 organization focused on impacting lives and communities through the transformative power of golf. Best known as PGA REACH Southern Texas, the Foundation was formed in 1994 and annually impacts thousands of individuals.
Our Foundation stands on four pillars: junior golf, college scholarships, PGA HOPE, & employment opportunities. By focusing on these pillars, PGA REACH Southern Texas strives to uplift, inspire, and empower individuals to reach their full potential.
COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS
2025 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN!
The STPGA is thrilled to announce that 2025 Scholarship Applications are now open! This opportunity is available to 2025 high school graduates and current college students.
With 20 different scholarships in 2025, you will be automatically sorted depending on which scholarships you qualify for, without having to individually apply for a specific scholarship. Please keep in mind that you do not have to be a junior golfer to apply.
Applications are due by Friday, March 21, 2025, and must include all required documents to be considered. You don’t have to be a junior golfer to apply!

INTRODUCING OUR 2025 PGA WORKS FELLOW: LEANN KELLY
The STPGA would like to welcome our 2025 PGA WORKS Fellow, Leann Kelly. She is originally from Atlanta and just came off an internship with the First Tee of Greater Houston. She is no stranger to the golf world, having interned with the AJGA as well. She started with us on January 14th and we are excited to have her on our team!

PGA HOPE
2025 GOALS
In 2025, our mission is clear: to continue transforming lives through the game of golf! With the incredible support of our dedicated PGA of America Members, we are set to host 55 PGA HOPE sessions across Southern Texas.
These sessions will provide life-changing opportunities for over 500 Veterans and active-duty service members, using the power of golf to inspire, heal, and connect.

JUNIOR GOLF
STARTING 2025 STRONG
What an incredible start to the year! Just 29 days in, our Junior Golf membership has already surpassed 2,110 members—a milestone worth celebrating!
In addition to our rapidly growing membership, we’ve hosted over 30 tournaments so far. It’s been amazing to see both new and familiar faces out on the course, making memories and showcasing their love for the game.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to continue welcoming more members and hosting even more thrilling tournaments and events. The energy and enthusiasm we’ve seen so far are just the beginning—we can’t wait to see what the rest of 2025 has in store!
